Based in Grand Rapids, Michigan
I got my undergraduate degree in Latin, with minors in music and computer science, from Calvin College (now University) in 2016, and studying so many forms of language helped prepare me for my job at Tekton, Inc. a Grand Rapids-based hand tool company. Over the past 10 years, I've helped achieve their ecommerce goals through modernizing and improving tekton.com, as well as building and maintaining internal applications.
I spend my free time staying grounded in the humanities through singing in the Calvin Alumni Choir, tackling various craft projects (my most recent endeavor was drafting and sewing new skirts and a cloak to go with my chemise and boned bodice for a Renaissance festival), enjoying Grand Rapids' live music, theater, and improv scenes, and going on walks with my dog, Vesta.
